Financial Partnership The appeal of this ministry can be summed up in a single word - it's STRATEGIC. When we look for a cause to support with our finances, we all want our contribution's impact to reach as far it possibly can. ISI's financial partners help us to quickly and efficiently reach all around the globe with the love of Christ. Those students touched by Christ's love and Good News here will carry the memory of that back with them to share with their own families & communities, without the boundaries of visas, language and culture. So, we have a simple question for you: Do you think you would find JOY in giving a monthly, quarterly or annual gift to this ministry? Following are some common questions we get asked about financial partnership: What kind of commitment is most helpful … monthly? Annual? One-time? Of course, any gift helps. The monthly commitment is the most helpful to us (and often the easiest for you), since it’s easier that way for us both to match it to a monthly budget. Is this commitment for life? Most commitments are open-ended, with the realization that things can change in the future. Our plans are always subject to God’s interruptions, so if you simply indicate your desired level of giving for now, we can take it one day/month/year at a time from there together. How much funding do you need? There is a specific amount of need, mostly for staff expense (the equivalent of one full-time worker). At the time of the last update of this Web page (May 2009), there is an urgent need for $800-$900 /mo to meet our most basic level of current monthly expenses. How much should I give? The Bible directs us to give joyfully. So the first question is whether you will find joy in giving to this ministry. If your answer is "yes," then the next question is a very practical one. What amount would this joy lead you to invest in the ministry of ISI, within the context of your other financial responsibilities, and by faith in God's provision? Individual commitments so far range from $10 to $250 per month. The average commitment is around $50/mo. If I decide to give, how do I do it? And is it tax deductible? There are several methods – all will be receipted and are tax deductible. Whichever method you choose, you will need to direct your gift toward one of the following fund numbers, or else it will be applied by default to the ISI home office expenses (in Colorado Springs, CO). If you're not sure which fund to choose, please contact us to help you determine where they are needed most - especially for regular gifts over $50/mo.
